It's Cold in Qingdao

It was - 2 degrees celcius when we touched down at Beijing airport and -1 degree celcius at Qingdao. At both airports there were no aerobridge and so we had to brave the cold to get to the buses as quickly as we could



After lunch at the Sports School, the children had 2 hours of siesta as many did not sleep during the flight.





All of us had a tour of the school in the afternoon. While the children were touring the shooting gallery, they were pleasantly surprised by the snow flurries that they saw outside. It was only for a short while.


The principal treated all of us to a sumptuous seafood dinner.


Training begins tomorrow and the children are excited. In fact they wanted to swim just now. The pool is well heated so the children should have no problem
